Joe Krznarich/ Prairie River excursions

Joe had been an avid trout angler for the past 35 years, and fly fishing for the last 23
years. The majority of his time has been
spent fishing the waters of the upper
Midwest and the Rocky Mountain streams of the West. During that time, I have
accumulated thousands of hours on the
water using a multitude of flies and
techniques to catch the elusive trout.

The 30+ mile long Prairie River is Joe's home river and he has spent countless hours fishing and guiding the river for the trout that call this beautiful river home.

Dan Boggs- Owner/Guide

I started professionally guiding in 2003. I believe that a good guide will guide his clients down the journey of their own Fly-Fishing career and consider it a privilege to be a part of their learning curve. Taking very seriously the teaching aspect I studied and passed the FFFI Fly Casting Certification program and am a Certified Casting Instructor. I have the patience, knowledge, and teaching ability to work with everyone from beginners to the more advanced fisherman with a generous and fun teaching style.

Rivers are my home! I love moving water and am always looking for new ways and new spots along the way to share with clients. There is no end to the stories good river fishing provides and I really enjoy being a part of making them.  I also am passionate about the fish- and love the challenge of finding out how to get them to 'eat'.

I have many guided trips for trout, smallmouth, and musky under my belt. Guiding in the Southwest Wisconsin area for trout and the Central Wisc Northwoods area for Trout, Musky, and Smallmouth.

Look forward to going fishing with you!
